| No but my vote goes to either Butcher or Early Bath. I'd put my hand up but I'm away this weekend.

I can imagine it now. 122 bullet points on the team tactics board in the dressing room.

| If the team talk is MEN based then it will be a crisp sheet of A4 vigorously wiped along the crack of our resident clown before he makes a quick exit towards Shaun Wane...

| As official as you're going to get, Koukash tweeted that Ian Watson will be in charge on Sunday. Nobody actually thinks Harris will be back do they?

Has Harris stolen a living and stifled one of the best young talents to the extent he can't wait to leave?

| Oh ye of little faith!
"Watson was set to hand the reins back to Harris this week, while Tim Sheens is arriving as director of rugby, and Watson feels a breather will have done Harris good.
'He was pleased to have a bit of a break,'he said.
'He's been dealing with a lot of outside factors and it does get to you eventually.'

| I'll stick with ' little faith '
Carney reckons he won't be back, and he's normally right.

| I feel for Harris, I think he came in and changed a lot if things for the better. Something is happening behind the scenes, that we are not privy to. But I think he did a good job the suspensions and injuries knackered our season up, not Harris's fault

I agree.
As someone who grew-up with IH and played with him at St Annes, he was always a talented lad on the field. He did, however, always have his own interests at heart before anything else and it's not surprised me that his coaching career has been dogged with accusations brought about by this character trait (Allegedly of course )
I think he's brought that experience as a player and the limited amount of experience from Wigan to us. I can see the difference in attitude since he's been in charge, but for me, like you said, I think there's circumstances we're not privy to driving his current situation.

| I also feel some sympathy for Harris but isn't he ultimately responsible for team discipline? I know he isn't the one getting the bans but surely it's up to him to control his players. It's not just the bans though is it? It's all the silly penalties we have been giving away week after week all year.

| In today's MEN, Mr Barker states "Club bosses are said to be discussing severance pay with head coach Iestyn Harris, who is off sick and has been linked with the coach's job at old club Featherstone." [size(sic
If he leaves I will be grateful for what he has done. The change in structures and drive mid way through last season was heartening. Noting the rumours in the said paper saying our captain is being linked with Leigh and the recent ructions around the press conference, I think he has not had the best of times. If he writes an autobiography, the times at South Wales and here in Salford will be worth reading (lawyers permitting).
