Just had a read of what happens after round 23. What i didn't realise is that the two championship sides get a higher seeding than the super league bottom two as a reward for a more consistent season. This means that they get 4 home games (as do 9th and 10th in sl). Top 3 after 7 games are safe. 4th vs 5th for sl status. Should be interesting.

Basically 10th has to be the target and Widnes the team to beat. Their fixtures :-

So our match there should be key providing we can beat HKR.

I think the team just need to draw a big line under all the bad luck/misfortune this year and kick on now. They just need to blank out of their minds what's gone and finish the season playing to the level everybody knows this team is capable of. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this team hit some form now and become a real handful. The cream may be sour but it always rises to the top. I believe the best is yet to come from Salford, can you say that about other clubs?

There could be an interesting twist here. It is not inconceivable that Catalans lose all their remaining matches, and if they were to finish 9th, there is a strong chance that Salford would play them away.

I really hope we play Leigh at their place, chance to right a wrong from earlier in the season.

Winner of the league wins the trophy and then if there is to be KO type event make a separate competition.

Hull KR play Us A, Hull H, St Helens A.

Warrington play Wakefield A, St Helens H, Cas A.

To even stand a chance we need to win all 3 remaining games.

It makes a mess of my request at work for shifts, as don't know when or where we are playing till after Widnes and that's to late for me so prob miss games....

Yes, that is the only mither with it. Televised games are penciled in for Saturdays and it appears most of the teams who can possibly be in the middle 8s (bar Hull FC) play their home games on Sundays. But of course, they could always change their minds.

It also means Salford are subordinate to Sale all season when it comes to stadium availability - with there now being no point where fixtures overlap where Salford's fixtures are known first. Hope we don't end up with any more home games at Leigh.
