The game might be off yet, Due to the massive number of injuries plus the loss to the club of Paea and Collis, the chairman Carter has appealed to Coolcash's and the RFL's better nature to get the game postponed until later in the season  |

Just how often in football do you see the appointment of a new Manager result in a first match victory? It's a second chance and a get out of jail card for players to raise their game and show the fans it wasn't us it was all the fault of the previous Manager/Coach.
This is a potential banana skin for Salford there's no question about that. No doubt Brian Smith will have been building up players confidence all week and telling them how good they are.
