| 8 defeats on the bounce. Hoping the boys can stop the rot next week at Wakefield. I haven't gone back through the records any longer, it could be more.
Could anyone imagine us being in this situation now considering how we finished 2014 and the signings we made?

| I think we lost 22 on the bounce in the early sixties.
Alan Dorning on the wing, scored one try in 22 games.
A very early recollection so hats off if anybody can disprove it.
Think we broke our duck at Doncaster

I do feel some sympathy for Harris because he has been hampered with selection difficulties in such key positions. Could Harris of done more to instill more discipline in the players? Who knows.
However it is a results business and the return on investment must be of some concern to the Doc after a year and a half since Noble's departure.
Defeat and excuses next week is simply not an option. If these players think anything about the coach they need to run their blood to water for him next week.

I honestly think if the players hadn't put up a bit of a show in the second half Friday he would have gone now.
I still feel (rightly or wrongly I have mixed feelings) that Harris is on borrowed time now.

With the promotion/relegation playoffs looming do you think firing Harris now would make the situation even worse? I'm hoping we can turn the corner next week, pick up a couple more results before round 22, get Dobson back and hit our best form in the playoffs.
Stick or twist?

| I don't think that anyone can blame Harris when we have had the injuries and suspensions that we have had. We were fourth before these and everything was looking good.
We will be in the middle 8. It will be a tough league, but we have to win it or at least be in the top three. Let's judge him then, not before.

| I see the knives are out.
How many of you above actually went on Friday?
If you did you would have seen a team RETURNING to the form shown only 2 months ago.
If you didnt go then you have absolutely no right to comment.
A change of coach will not make our task any easier. The return of Locke, Tasi, Lee, Griffin & Dobson WILL.
Get a grip those of you not 100% behind Iestyn and make sure you have no excuse for not making the trip next week.

I can't understand why you are happy to see your club persisting with a coach who has utterly failed in every coaching role he's ever had. It seems to be a mistake that a lot of wealthy owners make, spending big on players but then hiring a dud coach and wondering why there's no return on the investment. Simon Moran made the same mistake for years by persisting with Paul Cullen. Koukash could probably attract virtually any coach in the world, the sooner you bin Harris the sooner your club can start moving forwards (provided you survive the middle 8's).

| Oh its you again HH - the man that got it so wrong at Easter before our calamitous injury and suspension list. We were 4th - yes 4th - under your pal Iestyn. Never saw your posts then. No coach will have done better with the cards he has been dealt. Now get off his back and lets see how the season pans out.

Every club in the league has injuries. St Helens won Super League last season with most of their team missing. Plus half of Salford's problems were their own making due to poor discipline. At some point you need to look past the spin and excuses and realize that your coach just doesn't have what it takes. He has no credentials, he's failed in every job that he's had. Wigan couldn't wait to see the back of him. There's no evidence at all that he's even competent as a coach. I'm saying this because I want Salford to succeed and it's infuriating watching your club waste time with someone whose only real coaching talent seems to be weaseling his way into jobs.

| I don't think we should be looking at sacking Harris at the current time. However, his persistence with the same tactics that clearly weren't working during the current run of injuries and suspensions has done him no favours. We have basically forfeited the 6 league games Chase has missed, in the hope that we can carry on where we left off upon his return. Whether this happens or not will eventually decide how much longer he is in charge.

| You really have it in for him HH. Just looked at your previous posts. Its a one man crusade against Iestyn. Has IH been seeing your missus or something? Now clear off & come and see us at Christmas as then we can decide whether he is good enough. Tim Sheens is a better judge than you & he was right behind Iestyn & his methods.

Why wait until Christmas? The bottom line is that you can persist with Iestyn and make excuses each year as to why you aren't performing or achieving your goals, scratch your heads and wonder why certain players don't perform or signings don't work out and pretend your club is making some sort of progress when it isn't. Or you can appoint a top coach and watch things change virtually overnight. If you don't believe me ask Warrington fans, or Man City fans.
