Patterson charged grade b (1-2 games) for the elbow on Myler and Adam Walne for 2 grade c offences on Hill. 2-3 games each offence. They're really not learning are they although on this occasion I think the elbow was unintentional.

I thought Patterson would be pulled. It’s a contentious one.

I cannot believe we are ready to accept again we are the only team who seem to be sighted, are we saying there are no other teams with similar incidents! I have bought tickets for the magic weekend but seriously considering if I am going. I feel the RFL is taking the out of our club & taking money out of my pocket.

There are worse tackles , both high and of the ball , every weekend just on sky, let alone those matches we dont see, but it seems the RFL only see any thing we do in there eyes wrong, never mind the late tackles on our players, high tackles etc. it is about time we started to shout at the ref when we are high tackled late tackled etc everybody else does it apart from us.

Am surprised Paterson has been charged. It was looked at by the video ref while Myler was down injured and no penalty was awarded. How many times does an incident have to be looked at? You could find fault in pretty much every contentious issue if they are all being repeatedly looked at until someone finally finds fault with it.

To be fair rhere was a shoulder charge by Paterson earlier in the game that i thought he was more likely to get pulled for. I'm surprised he has been pulled for the elbow though as he just looked like he was trying to get his arm free to off load. Only he will know for sure if it was intentional.

We're not the only team who have players before the panel. Ryab Bailey and Andrew Henderson cited too.

I can not believe that Henderson has only been charged with a grade B offense. It looked identical to what Chase did - he went round the ruck, tackled below the knees and the player was bent over backwards. I'd love for the RFL to explain why they think there's a 4 grade (and 7 match) difference between them.

Having watched the highlights of Catalan v Wigan, I was fuming that (aside from Terry O'Connor) it went relatively unmentioned. It was much worse than Rangi Chase's. Utterly ridiculous that they have charged him with a grade B.

I cant believe either Paterson or Walne are being charged. You can clearly see what Paterson was thinking, before the collision with Myler, i.e I'll get my arm free before the tackle and off-load to my centre. I'm assuming the Walne incident was the "cannonball" tackle? If so, what a load of b*llocks. This is RL, unfortunate accidents are going to happen, but if you watch Walne he doesn't change direction of Hills legs just tries to assist the tackle.

Completely agree! Whilst watching the match on TV on Saturday, I comented to my Dad that the tackle was as bad as Rangis'. Rewound and watched again, and yes, it was a bad one and certainly worthy of more than a Grade B. I just don't get it! I'm sure there's no agenda against Salford - it's a professional sport and that couldn't happen - but I'm at a loss as to who makes the decisions and why there are so many inconsistencies like this.

My view on the Paterson incident was that he lifted his arm to avoid collision but accidentally caught Myler. I think the lack of reaction from the Warrington players says it all really.

All disciplinary hearing delayed 24 hours due to unforseen circumstances.
