| Happy or disappointed with 3 points from the 4 games we have played. Looking at it for me its not a bad start, we have played Wire Saints and Catalans who are tipped to be in the top 5.
Positives:
Won & Drew a game with a lot of players out due to injuries.
Starting to look like we're scoring for fun (72 points in last 2 games)
Some of the new players looking good ( BJB, Patersen,Hauraki & Taylor for me)
When everyone is available Harris is gonna have a headache who to pick (which is a good thing)
Negatives:
DEFENDING, why do we make it hard for ourselves. Must of been 3 or 4 times we give penalties away on the 5th tackle yesterday.
Due to our bad defending we have given 142 points away in 4 games. NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Next set of fixtures in March are
Wakefield (H)
Castleford (A)
Widnes (H)
If we wanna be up there we need to win these games, i know Wakefield are playing well (they were unlucky against Saints i.m.o). Castleford got a great result at home against Wigan and We never do well against Widnes...BUT THESE ARE MUST WIN GAMES!!!

| Im happy especially after the saints game we've come back strong. Our attack looks as good as anyones in the league.
But missed tackles and stupid penalties are costing us you wont be surprised to see were top of the stats on both accounts.
Once everyone is fit harris will have a selection problem i dont see how dobbo will fit in fages/chase have been outstanding

| Paterson was outstanding. He has to stay in the centres and partner S'au. But defence is the key. Far too many penalties given away which meant we had long stretches without the ball.

| I think we're about at par with points in the table. I only expected 1 win from opening 4 games but hoped we might sneak another one so 3 points feels ok
Problem is points conceded. We've got the worst defence in the league. Still early days but I think the team with worst defence has finished in bottom 2 of super league most, if not every, year so we have to improve on that if we are to finish in top 8
On the positive it looks like we're starting to click going forward and yo dominate the Catalans pack fir large periods pc Saturday's game is very encouraging

| Happy. Out of our 4 opening games we have played the teams currently in second, third and fourth.

| With everything but the defense I'm more than happy.
We really contested for large chunks of the Warrington game and they will be a top 4 team.
We got handed a lesson against Saints and they will be a top 4 team.
We beat Hull more convincingly than the score indicated and we I'd imagine will be fighting for the same ladder position as them.
We competed and ultimately drew with Catalans who I'd expect to be in the top 4 also and not many will travel there and get anything other than a real pasting.
I'd have preferred us to compete against Saints but we didn't, let's move on and try to win the next three.
I'm surprised more hasn't been made of the upturn since Sheens arrived, been very low key which is what I wanted but I find it hard to believe that he hasn't steadied a ship that was shaking after the Saints game.
Work hard over the next few weeks on defense and the fabled top 8 should be withing easy reach.

Totally agree, if we are to be challenging for the top 8 we need to win all 3 of these. I can see all 3 of these games being nail biters. Not sure my nerves can handle much more after Saturday.

| I think we need to improve our discipline when we are under pressure, tighten our defence on the fringes and work on improving our kicking game. Definitely potential for more improvement in this team.

| Quite happy. We've played 3 of the best 4 sides in the comp and scored heaps of tries in the last 2 games.
Yes the Saints game was a disaster but now we've got the ball rolling let's hope performances like that are a thing of the past.
I think Hock getting banned was a godsend because we seem to be much more of a tighter unit without him.
Defence needs to massively improve going forward though we are conceding way too many points.
My aim would be to concede less than 40/50 points in the next 3 games.

| Three points is probably as good as I thought at this stage.
I didn't think we'd get anything out of Wire, Saints, or Catalans. So to nick a point away in France is a bonus. Beating Hull was a must and we did that. The next three games may actually set-up the rest of the season for us. Be that positively or negatively. Wakey and Widnes need to be wins, and anything away at Cas is a bonus.
We'll see...

| Happy.
Before the season started, I looked at the first four games and felt we would only realistically win the one which we have (Hull FC) although I was confident given the team we have that we’d take something from either Warrington, Saints and Catalans. However following the injuries we picked up I knew this would be difficult which is why the result in Perpignan was very impressive.
As has been mentioned, our defence still has plenty of improvement in it along with our discipline. We cant keep giving teams as much ball as we have been doing and expect to finish in the top half.
We NEED 2 wins from the next 3 games.

| I'm happy enough as has been said its a tough place to go at the best of times and following their result against Warrington last week and with the players we had missing (and others that we thought we didn't have before kick-off) we'd be on for a hiding. Catalan are a very good team this year but to show the spirit we did to just keep going was a very refreshing change from a Salford side. Some great individual performances, especially from Paterson* playing in the centre. Overall its a very decent point, the thing to do now it back up the last two results on Sunday otherwise they mean little.
(*other players are available for praise! )

| Happy so far, as I expected only 2 points after the first 4 matches. Last 2 matches have been great, although I think we need to improve discipline. Time now to kick on, we should be aiming for 2 wins from the next 3 matches as a minimum.
