After just watching Catalans vs Warrington it has really hit home just how important todays game is. I see it as a must win if we are serious about being in the top 8. The game next week at Catalans is going to be very, very tough so we definitely need some points on the board before then.

I've got every faith the boys can do it today though so let's get behind them! Come on Solly!

Fata, I agree, it's about doing our bit as fans to help create the atmosphere that lets the team do their bit.
I also watched the Catalans Wire game and was thinking if Warrington had made as many mistakes against us then maybe we'd have had two points on the board.
The Sts game was awful, and an off day where injuries conspired against us. If we put in a performance against Hull that we did against Warrington then I think we'll have two points and a bit of confidence for next week.

Consider our injury list that was a cracking result. Nervous listening to it on the radio. Heard there was trouble outside the ground.Considering being embarrassed by Saints two weeks ago thats not bad attendance..We proven we have the fan base so with a few good results the fans will come back.

It wasn't a perfect performance by any means but I'll take the result. The most pleasing aspect for me was the contribution of Evalds, Walne and Fages, all products of our academy. It must be very satisfying for Allan Hunte, these young lads are developing and bleed Salford.

Fantastic game,team spirit from Salford was 1st class thought with you missing your two superstars a defeat was certain.Just improve your kicking game and you will finish top 8.Made my daughters day.

You were better of without Dobson, Chase could just play off the cuff. Both sides will be battling for 8th so that was a crucial win for you lot.

I think we looked much better without some of our 'superstars' on the pitch. Evalds and Fages in particular were impressive and I thought Tommy Lee had a blinder.

Very impressed with the character of the team, something which has been questioned a fair amount since Harris took over. Given what was against us with injuries we started the game with a patched up team like a house on fire. Before Hull had even had chance to realise the game had kicked off we were 10-0 up. Our major frailties were emphasised again with our defence outwide, as soon as Hull shipped it to either flank we looked vulnerable. This is something we need to fix up ASAP.

I thought Niall was outstanding and was gutted that he picked up an injury. I heard that it could possibly be a hamstring, hope not as that’s at least 6 weeks out. Theo was again brilliant and if he can just add a kicking game to his repertoire he will grow into a very, very good scrum half for Salford. I also gave Scott Taylor some stick during the week, but he was fantastic – I expected against his hometown team and the club he will join in 2016 that he’d put in a big performance and he didn’t disappoint. In the furore of the Rangi chase dummy and pass, Scott Taylors off-load will be overlooked. But what a piece of skill for a prop forward. Also, Weller Hauraki – another who on that form is unplayable.

Obviously MOM has to go to Rangi who was simply a privilege to watch. The big question is how to get that out of him on a weekly basis. I thought the switch to full-back helped him, it seemed to free the shackles from him and allowed him to pick and choose when and where he would join the attacking line.

I think we got our attack spot on but defensively we missed 50 tackles which is still a worry. But overall the players attitude were first class im just starting to worry about the amount of injuries were picking up. Oh well only Cats away next if we keep it within 2 scores i'll be happy!

His best performance in a Salford shirt by some distance. Reading a few opinions in the past about Chase from Castleford fans, they suggest inconsistency in his performances. The question is, is it Rangi or is it the teams he's played for not being on the front foot enough? Another thought is could there be any coincidence that Hock leaves the club and he puts in a top performance?
