It does seem like a fairly obvious and not all that expensive thing to do. Today will be my first trip to the ground, so I have no experience of how bad it is, but it seems to be one of the main talking points whenever your ground is mentioned. I assume it must have been suggested to the club by someone?'"
Both great points which have been suggested by both us and sale. When you visit later you will see the major ongoing road scheme, which I believe has an underpass. Unfortunately with delays to the new bridge, this is running more than 12 months behind schedule.
If you park at the airport, my advice is to follow the road to the A57\stadium way junction where there is a pedestrian crossing. Unfornately you will see quite a few fans cut up the lay by to save a couple of minutes which then entails trying to run across a busy dual carriageway.
Another popular parking option is Eccles RL club, which is about a 15 main walk away. It's cheaper, money goes to a amateur club and is quicker back onto the Motorway after.
Enjoy the game and let us know if you think the access is as bad as people protray.
