Guess what day they are planning,,,,5 July when we are at home to Catalans....so I see another game changed....

It isn't an airshow it is a family fun day or something like that

It's down as an airshow on the Salford online, sorry do links and I tweeted Martin and he says in talks with Barton so maybe no date change....

Certainly City Airport Manchester (or Barton as we old codgers know it) are calling it an Airshow this year

Do people not check these things or is the date different to previous years?

Last year it was Sunday 13th July

Not hugely ideal that we've scheduled home sunday games for both the 5th and 12th. You would hope that with Peel having fingers in both organisations then the right and left hands could have let each other know about the potential clash. Hopefully we won't end up with another saturday night game.

The road to nowhere has plenty of room for parking, thats the way to leep thew game on a Sunday,

Don't moan about it, look at it as a means to promote the game and the club. Have a merchandise/information stand at the air show and let attendees know about the game with flyers, posters, etc.

Also, the air show is between 12 and 4 pm, so move the game to 5pm and offer a reduced entry fee to anyone that attended the air show, using the above mentioned flyers as proof of attendance. The club could also put on a shuttle bus from the areodrome to the AJ Bell stadium and vice versa to make it easier to get between the two events.

Maybe the club could even get the Red Devils parachute team involved in an effort to link the two events together.

Looked at the site and a nice photograph of two biplanes and a (land)tractor. And lots of cars.

The happy days of the Red Arrows, the Vulcan and WW2 flypasts seem to have gone.
