nb: I can't accept Etienne Ferret. While he has a remarkably continental first name I can't think of a more northern British pet than his surname, besides perhaps a pigeon.

My favourite name of any Salford player is Stodger Meek.. his name sticks in my memeory but I know nowt about him except I did come across his name when researching Salford.
