I have just been on Bolton Market & had to do a double take at the custodian of the new pub/bar in there. None other than Steve Simms himself! Pub open at 10am, could not believe my eyes!

Here is one to the statto's, what was Steve Simms record in charge of managing Salford? He filled inbetween a couple of head coaches and I always remember us doing reasonably well with him in charge. If we didn't win I recall us at least competing?

I've not been in there since Simms took over but it's a cracking little place if you like good beer. It's been the sole reason I've been into Bolton a couple of times (it's a small bar with a few beers on draft, but they also sell a range of local bottled ales you can take away). I know they had a Meet The Brewer event on a few Saturdays back with the McAvoys and their Seven Brothers beers.
