| id swap evalds for tomkins. evalds has played very well since coming into the team and can fill in across the back line with theo moving to hooker to give tommy lee a rest. also tomkins will not be here next year so give game time to our own players

| +1 for Evalds, assuming Locke starts at FB, given his track record so far how long will he last? Cover is needed!

| Agree about Locke, worrying that he started with a groin problem but this has now become a back issue, do hope that the two aren't linked. When you saw him make the break against Leeds where he re injured himself you could see it was going too happen.
All this talk of the top 8 now is fantasy for me so there is no sense in risking him unless 100% 100% fit, Evalds has been a more than capable #1.

| If Locke is fully fit,he plays. Evalds to miss out, with Ashurst
If he can't do 80 minutes, leave him out.
I don't want to waste a bench spot just to cover for his fitness.
I really hope Locke plays,though.

Salford Red Devils RLFC.

| Odd people are picking Dixon ahead of Ashurst, considering the form both have been in recently ie one has been out for a long time, the other playing brilliantly (Wigan excluded but same goes for them all). Ashurst ahead of Dixon for me.
I would also drop Tomkins, haven't been impressed since his reintroduction. I don't think it's a coincidence that out best run of form included Tommy Lee playing 80 minutes at hooker. Evalds on the bench as he provides cover from 1 to 7 and even 9 at a push.

Ashurst has been solid, nothing more nothing less. I think a lot of people are giving Dixon the nod because, although they a very similar players, Dixon is the better out of the two. He runs better lines, is more likely to make a line break, has better hands and can do the tough stuff in defence.
I like Ashurst, but I honestly just think he’s an average run of the mill back row forward, what you see is what you get. I like his attitude and work rate, but as for pure rugby league ability Dixon is the better of the two.

| Dixon isn't (as far as we know) leaving at the end of the season either. Another tick for him.

.....commenced shortly after Ian Watson was appointed assistant head coach just prior to the away game at Castleford.
Thoughts? Would this extremely boring balloon be correct? I have missed recent games.
I did notice him running an intense warm-up before the Leeds home game which Adrian Morley was into, with relish.

| A magical display from Rangi.
He was at his mesmerising best - conducting the orchestra with aplomb.
Special raps for Morley with that wonderful cover tackle & Tony Pulatea for a great all round effort culminating with his try.
When we have Kevin Locke 100% fit then we will have an awesome player won`t we?
