| Just thought id comment warringtons first 2 try's weren't try's, the advantage of having slow action on a remote control, you can clearly see on the first try the Warrington winger had his foot I'm touch before the ball was put down after good defence off meli, the second try which was knocked on by tommy lee was a knock on but then came off highams foot forwards to Chris hill who to pick up the ball was in an offside position however he did pick it up which led to a breakaway try for Ryan Atkins.
I must admit it was hard for the official to see but where is the big screen when you need it !!!!! There's 12 points that shouldn't of been,Could of been a total different result if all this was seen !!!!!

| Do you think the last try Evalds gets taken out as well? Or have i got my red tinted glasses on. There first try should never have been allowed that was well in touch. There second try was a tough call in fairness but Johnson tackle was half hearted probably still a bit worried about his injury in fairness!

| It wasn't shown
however Sau's dssallowed try was correct - .
Quote: "DOUBLE MOVEMENT
The attacking player must not promote the football from the position the ball or the arm
carrying the ball has been grounded, in the process of scoring a try.
If momentum carries a player in possession into the in-goal area, it will not be a double
movement if the ball would have finished over the goal line regardless of any subsequent
movement of the ball or the arm carrying the ball.'"
As for Warrington's try's , that the vagaries of a game with no video ref ..
as for the Try from Tommy Lee's knock-on , we deserved it for standing there like shoproom dummies after the mistake while Wire played to the whistle.

| Warrington must be pleased it wasn't televised because they would have been hammered 2-20.

| Hill was definitely in an offside position after the ball rebounded off a Warrington tackler. It was obvious on TV but I bet it was far from obvious to the officials. These things happen.
Sau was definitely a double movement in my opinion.
We could talk all day about referee decisions, Eddie & Stevo have spent years doing that on sky sports rather than focusing on the teams.

Not seen it since the game but it was the most blatant double movement ever seen.

| Yeah, the Sa'u incident was clearly a double movement.
What did however go unnoticed was Chris Hill running alongside Sa'u and pulling him back by the collar before he had the ball. I'm amazed that it wasn't picked up by our supporters, the in goal touch judge could clearly see him being pulled back, but decided to let it go for some bizarre reason.

| the evalds incident is a tough call as it looks as ratchford is attempting to get the ball, so for me that was a try, the one from sau was a double movement, but the first 2 were defo out of touch and hill was offside to pick the ball up, but like i said it was hard for an official to see both as i dint see it till the program last night and i made sure this morning

I agree.
I'd watched Childs in his previous televised game and his quality was similar in Sundays game.
Sure, lets talk about the teams but Childs is an exceptionally poor referee. I mean really poor.
It's not particularly his game management,he just makes too many individual errors.
To put him in perspective,he makes Bentham and Thaler look good.
That's damning !

I think all referees in sport have a very rigid approach when their vision is obstructed, if in doubt give the decision to the team with a higher standing. I'm not having a pop at refs I think it's just a natural responce for them with less damaging repercussions, the last thing they want is to make a wrong decision that could lead to an upset result and a complaint. If you want a perfect example of a team that now get decisions they never used to get a few years back, look no further than Manchester City.
Over the years I've witnessed it work in Salford's favour on those occasions we dropped down a division.

| Most of us cheered when Ormsby was in the corner because we thought he was in touch - thought maybe with it being so far away that I could be wrong.
The first thing I thought when Hill picked up the ball was that it had come off a Warrington player and that he was offside, was half in hope rather than being completely convinced by it. Either way, the ball would have gone to them after the knock on.
Didn't think there was much wrong with the grounding for their last try on the day.

| The officials get decisions incorrect despite them adding to their numbers with in-goal judges and video referees.
They should save money,go back to the 'old' system and we just accept that as they are human they get it wrong once or twice.
It doesn't seem like they will ever get it perfect and some are of the opinion that spectators are staying away from attending because of the inconsistency of officiating.
The result is never altered whether or not an error is later established.
