| We are having an informal meet up to discuss suggestions for the remaining SOS money.
All large donations were returned to recipients & monies left was from the bucket collection, auction & raffles cup cake sales at fundraising events & small anonymous donations.
Up to things settling down under Marwans ownership, some of the money went to funding a much needed Physio assistant for the 1st team.
It has been suggested by fans, who had donated, for the money to stay in Rugby League & that is what we need to decide.
The meeting is tomorrow night TUESDAY 20th MAY @ 7-00pm
It will be in the Press Room at the Stadium
Cheers

| If we're giving it to anything away from Salford I think the best cause would be to Steve Prescotts charity.
I'd prefer though to keep it within the club and for me best to help the next generation of players.
Or catching practice for Meli

| Perhaps some of it can go towards a banner for the South Stand? I really like the idea of giving to the Steve Prescott foundation too.

| Think the only way we could help the local teams would be by investing in better involvement from Salford, depending on what is in the pot maybe the funding of a part time liaison for local amateur teams to work directly with the club.

If you haven’t been picked up by a club at U18’s, chances are you’re not going to. I would much prefer we concentrated our efforts on the younger kids.
I think this is the major problem with grass roots RL in this country, most amateur clubs are set-up with the main focus being on the open age teams which is bonkers. In my experience, open age teams have always had more money spent on them, better facilities, equipment, kit etc whereas the younger age groups have struggled.
If it were upto me, U8’s to U16’s would be the main focus. Open age and U18’s should be a second thought.

| Perhaps we could buy magic tickets and run a competition for next season. I for one was thoroughly embarrassed by the turn out and getting domed by the Widnes fans. Our singing was shocking and no atmosphere. I cannot believe we are the nearest club to the stadium. We need to get organised for next year.

| Split between Joining Jack and Steve Prescott Foundation.
Both charities have connections with our 2 next opponents so presentations could be organized for pre-match or half time.
