Both out and both been poor this season. If Smith had have played like Theo did on Saturday, he would have been vilified on here.

I wouldnt play a scrum half, in the absence of Smith and Fages I would rather us play another forward to strengthen our defence up out on the right side.

On that basis,Lee fits the bill perfectly

Not seen anything about him and his agent looking to move back and can't see it as we have ample halves and no None fed spot left. One thing I was told is that some players from the 2011 squad have been sent letters from the ASADA with regards to anti doping. Tim was in this squad and others playing superleague too. Not saying he's had one but seems weird being stood down when you are a half light.

Its over alledged drug taking back in 2011 if you google its part of a large investigation. Oh and by the way Aiton was in that team too.

I'm aware of the investigation, with the focus being on Cronulla and Essendon. It's been pretty big news, but I've heard nothing about clubs outside of Australian competition, and indeed ADASA has no authority outside of Australia so surely won't be doing doping at UK clubs.

Tim Smith played for Cronulla in the 2010-11 season, so I guess that's the link.

If this was the case might this not be a blessing in disguise? Surely the club could void a players contract if they were found to have been involved in taking these 'supplements'?

Smith has hardly pulled up trees since he arrived and you suspect that the club would rather free up his wages, get Sneyd back and make investments elsewhere in the squad.

Eden at FB and Mullaney at SH. I think Harris will go with Lee though. Which doesn't fill me with a lot of joy.
