| If Bradford get the points back (even if they don't) then I hope there's a plan b, it'd be typical Salford to have something this good given to us on a plate and for it to blow up in our faces. There's a slight smell of 2007 to all this.

What makes you think you'll beat Hull KR ?? The highlight of your season is beating Cas and you've been woeful since.
Bradford get the points back .. it will be interesting lol

| The players must be extremely embarrassed about being in 12th place with almost half the season gone. Everybody in rugby league is laughing at us and gloating at our predicament having spent so much extra money on the team. The million dollar question is if or when we will see a 'do or die' reaction from the players.
Who knows maybe today is the day the impact of the extra training and tactical changes Harris has done over the past few weeks starts to pay off.

Looking at the BBC site it seems to me Wakey had at least 10 'new' players in the 17 taken to their club in the off-season,after they sold to survive, and some had arrived once this campaign had started. They also have loan players.
Agar, despite calls for his head from their supporters, has managed to make them gel sufficiently to go away onto the artificial surface and defeat the side who have beaten us twice, this year.
Neither Wakey or Cas had any time in South Africa - both higher in the League ladder and Cas still in the cup.
Lets hope the players and supporters give it maximum effort for 80 minutes tonight.

| All I ask is a lot more collective enthusiasm and team spirit. If we have this the performances and results will take care of themselves.
It's not about physical ability or lack of skill with us, it's the cumulative lack of heart and desire to play to the maximum for the full 80 minutes. We need to start as we intend to go on tonight like men possessed!!

| I think we'll click at some point, and after that I think we'll do well towards the back end of the season. Morale plays a big part in these things, and when the players get a lift with a couple of wins I don't think we'll look back.
Got my optimistic glasses on today. At least until later on this evening.

In principle I agree, but how much is morale improved by the constant talk of new signings - what does that do for players who suspect they won't be here for another season?

If we are going to turn this season around I feel it's about tonight and next week against Widnes. I'd love us to see us wipe that smug smile off Mr Betts face next week at magic.

Think after the ruck between the Doc and Betts after the cup game better than normal bonus from the Doc will be on offer next weekend.
I like the Butcher think at some point we will click and someone will get a hammering and the team should go forward from there. On the subject of getting points back, it would be a scandal for the RFL to backtrack on it's policy on bankruptcy.

With London Broncos looking at the example set in the round ball game for their miracle this piece should illustrate it nicely -[i The likelihood is that several of the players who helped Poyet achieve a ‘miracle’ will not be at the club next season.[/i
It's professionalism and personal pride - as well as wanting to do their best for their teammates - the ones they bonded so well with in South Africa.
I am sure Kevin Locke and BJB will put their all in between now and the next chapter in their careers with their current clubs.

Of course they will - it's their choice to move on!
I agree on the professionalism & personal pride points, but if you are turning out knowing that your replacement is in the wings then it may go one of two ways - massive performance to prove that you are worth your place and keeping on or something less than 100% because what's the point??

I thought that last week when the fans were chanting for Kevin Locke at the Catalans game. I know Jake Mulaney wasn't in the team but how does that make him feel?
