| Sorry but for me the bench needs to be 2 forwards, interchange hooker/3rd forward and a back.
As I said elsewhere does show we have a little more depth to the squad than others are saying.
Would still like to see Chase back though.

With all respect to Salford, if we can get Huddersfield I'd like to think we can beat Salford. We have key players coming back and with home advantage. Yous need time to Gel but will have the makings of a really strong team.
Hock and Chase are massive blows for you. We all know what Hock is capable of, lives on the edge but a real attacking threat, along with Chase.
How good is this Sau ? One thing I've noticed is Salford seen a little short on pace at the moment but I could be totally wrong.

You're totally right. Johnson looks fast but that's it in the threequarters.

| Not seen much of Sa'u but heard good things about him although he's not really had a pre-season and missed the last 2 games. I think were probably short of a quality hooker although Lee is much quicker then Howarth around the ruck area. But still too early too judge the team on a whole!

| Yes but not to replace Lee. The reason we beat Wakefield was how we coped with the injuries. Lee played well as a half back and Hock was immense ending up at left centre. If we play with the determination demonstrated by these two we will be OK this season. Let us not judge on a few matches.

Not a bad team if we are honest. Only my opinion, but if Salford are to harbour serious playoff aspirations (as they should when you look at their squad) then really they should be able to put away teams like Widnes, home or away. The performance against Saints was very poor, and it looked like your team lacked conditioning/fitness, which surprised me. That, mixed with crazy errors, was your undoing. Without Rangi, it might be time to go back to basics, and use that big pack to get you on the front foot and press widnes back. I guess the game is on TV? If so, i am realyl looking forward to it. Am not a Salford fan, but am loving the revolution, and following it with interest. Good luck Thursday.

And Vise Versa in Widnes at the moment. If we're going to make the 8 which I think we can they we need to be beating Salford, Hull, Hull KR. (The group of teams who will be in and around that 8th spot)

I remember him in a kiwi shirt a few years back and he was very strong and a real threat close to the opposition line with his dynamic style. In recent years since leaving Newcastle Knights he hasnt played a lot of NRL games and was 'demoted' to the Samoan world cup squad and wasnt prominent in their performances.
He could turn out to be a great signing or a poor signing. My concern short term is his lack of match fitness, he didnt have a full pre season with us coupled with his spells out of first grade down under.
We aint the quickest team you will face.
