| Left the stadium in a protective boot and will be having a scan today. Bad news for us, he was probably our best player last night.
Shame the Saints fans chose to boo him whilst injured, poor taste regardless of rivarly etc. Would have loved to given a few of them a smack last night. Scouse c*nts.

"It doesn't look good," Noble said. "He's going for a scan tomorrow and I'm keeping my fingers crossed but it's looking like a six or seven week job."
Real downer that as sure he would have raised his game even higher to play at Widnes, shows how cruel the game can be when your two biggest signings both get injured right at the start of the season.

You're normally a decent poster but this is ridiculous. And just for your information, scousers are people from Liverpool; St.Helens isn't in Liverpool. Hope this helps.

I speak my mind. I could just imagine some scruffy little/big scally kitted out in his St Helens replica shirt with his dodgy scouse accent giving Hock a load of grief whilst he was writhing on the floor in agony. Disgusting behaviour. I’m all for giving it opposition players, particular those with characters like Gareth Hock but the line was well and truly crossed.
A couple of smacks to the nose and these muppets wouldn’t do it again. Shame we have stand at the other end of the pitch.
Gobsh*tes.

| I sit behind the home dug out and could see that Hock had a lump the size of an egg near his ankle. Hopefully it's just a bad strain but looked like ligament damage.

Social stereotyping from a Salford fan? And insinuating that if you was stood in the Saints end you would have dished out a "couple of smacks to the nose?" How old are you mate, 12?!
I was stood with the Saints fans last night and I can't deny Hock took a lot of abuse and there was cheering going on when he got injured. However, if you fully understood the relationship between Hock and Saints fans and the abuse he has dished out himself towards Saints fans in the past, both in person and via twitter, then you would probably be less inclined to criticise the actions of Saints fans last night.
And once again, scousers are generally people from Liverpool. I know hundreds of people from St.Helens and not one has a scouse accent.

I agree with the Giraffe JGR you're usually worth a read. I understand you might be miffed, but, surely that must be due to your team's ineffectual performance last night not a bit of terrace 'banter'.
BTW all teams have these unsavoury types in their supporter ranks, even Salford, you cheeky devils. I witnessed one such lunatic kicking the hoardings and remonstrating with the stewards leaving your end in his beige tracksuit 5 minutes before the end you know just after the let's knock the cameraman off his perch episode as Walsh slotted another over.....how the Sky guy must have been chuckling up there surrounded by all your top 'comedians'.

| No axe to grind either way, but to most people from east of the M6 people from St Helens will always be scousers - c*nts or otherwise. And Salford fans, how can anyone who has spent most of his career seemingly trying to cause injury to other players by foul means have any cause for complaint when opposing fans delight in his own injury?!

Quite an ignorant viewpoint then. Salford is probably as close to Leigh as St.Helens is to Liverpool. Maybe Salford fans should all be labelled as "Leigh W*nkers" then?
I agree with the rest of your post though.

Of course our fans wouldnt have reacted in the same way if Richie Myler had picked up an injury in a game against us, we are above all that.
