Went to the so called club shop today as my daughter wanted to get me a present for xmas only to find it is the sale sharks shop and we have two clothes rails at the far end with next to naff all on, what a let down, there were other reds fans in there at same time we all came out empty handed, before some of you jump on the band wagon I know we have an on line shop, is the reason we don’t have this facility down to the old board of directors selling to sale.

I've not been down yet but when the club say the shop is open is this what they mean?

They have all the products but behind the counter.

Would suspect the Doc will work on a better solution as it's not ideal.

What did strike me was the girl from Sale who worked there was incredibly helpful on the Salford side.

At one of the "on the road sessions" it was pointed out that during Sale's season the shop is 80% Sale's and 20% Red Devils and during our season it's 80% Red Devils and 20% Sale Sharks which considering what our position was not many months ago is a vast improvement.

Yes I thought the same when I visited it. Dissappointed with the polo shirt range available but found the salesgirl very helpful and all the accessories are behind the counter. Also if you order on line and request to pick it up you save on postage.

Noticed that on the Clubs FB page there's a post about an abusive fan in the shop. Wasn't you was it Raynard?

I think its a step forward to be back in the club shop currently it is sales season and i expect them to have more in the shop than we do

when our season starts im hoping for more of an equal split then when their season finishes we can do the same them in their off season

Disappointed any supporter of our club would verbally abuse staff. There are appropriate ways and means of venting your disappointment without needing to abuse people.

Whoever you are I hope you're ashamed, be a man accept your wrong and go and apologise personally.

dont forget its union season still so all there stuff will be in the shop. Would you rather have our shirt sold in the fans bar like the end of last season?

I went in and collected a polo shirt (they are very snug for the sizes they claim to be) BUT the women behind the till was very helpful and we did an exchange.

It is right in the middle of the sale season so I would expect there to be more sale merch than anything else, and in the middle of summer more devils stuff. Makes sense if you are honest with yourself?

The fact we can buy shirts this tuime round is surely better than last year, also a\ squad list out so you can personalise the shirts?!

It was a bit of a let down when I visited. Didn't know they had the smaller scale stuff behind the counter as none of it was on display. Would be better if this stock was at least visible as all it looks like we are selling is 2 rails of replica/polo shirts. Good to be have somewhere to be able to pick up some Salford related stuff from though.

The one part of the club which has not improved.
I would hope and expect the situation to alter in 2014.
Disappointed that the most amiable member of staff I have encountered,Amanda,is no longer employed,especially as she travelled home and away with her family.
