| They seem to be in a much worse situation. No ground and just enough players to field a five-a-side team. Hopefully somebody can come in and invest soon, would be a huge waste to let the Broncos end now.

| Aye it'd be a real shame to see them go. It's not looking good for them at all, only 5 players on their books?! I hope they can pull through.
I wonder what'd happen if they did go. I doubt any Championship side would replace them (for next season anyway), it'd more likely be a bye weekend. What would that mean for the Magic Weekend?

| If they were to go bust, I would expect two of the following situations to happen; one club promoted from the Championship and given special dispensation for one season from relegation or revert back to a 13 team competition.
I cant see the RFL allowing London to fail after so long, they need an English Super League team outside of the M62 corridor otherwise you cant call it a national sport. I suspect the intention to go into administration is a warning from the Broncos to the RFL, in order to ensure they act ASAP.
You cant blame any future investors being put off from the farce that is London Broncos though. No players, no ground and everyone unsure as to what format the competition is going to run in next year (i.e promotion and relegation or not) it's crazy. Even if an investor did come on board, they're going to need at least 17 new players i time for next year, where are these going to come from?

| I wonder if the Doc would look at them?
Seems his desire to buy into Oldham is dead in the water so maybe London might be something he'd look at taking on?

He's ambitious but he's not mad, plus he wouldn't be able to own two SL clubs as per Ian Lenagan who had to relinquish his involvement in London when he took over at Wigan.

Didn't he say that he'd put his wife in charge of he took over at Oldham?
Not saying I'd want him too but you can see it being the sort of challenge he'd like. I remember him saying once he knew others in the horse racing world who would be interested in investing in the sport, wonder then if the RFL/SL ask him if he does know anyone interested.

So do I.
Has to be,and proved to be,impossible to build up a large fan base without a permanent home and the 'jumping into bed' with a Union club,by Lenagan, seems to have been the death knell.
There was a fantastic piece written in the RLE by Hector McNeill,owner/founder and now director of London Skolars
on 9th September under the heading," Does London need a top class Super League club?"
He deals with Hedge Funds on the London Stock Exchange and the companies deal with millions of dollars.
He started the January games at the HAC grounds in the centre of London.
Could be too late though. The RFL seem more keen on International games because, allegedly, this will attract more media coverage and spectators,as the 15-a-side sport enjoys, and playing against a French side, because the 15-a-side sport does.
Meanwhile clubs in the north and south of England...

| Koukash seems determined on improving RL within struggling North West clubs, rather than down South hence his interest in Salford, then Oldham and now Swinton. London would just be a massive inconvenience to him geographically I would imagine. They'll be ok anyway, someone will definitely invest especially off the back of what is a successful RLWC.

| Of the hope of someone stepping in, my feelings are guarded. The previous owner has lost almost £10 000 000 on running the club. There seems to be a political stand-off between RL bosses and possible investors. There is hardly a team left. Marketing has been poorer than at Salford and the area is not steeped in Rugby League.
At the same time there are growing seeds at amateur and championship levels. Which suggests there may be a future at that level.
