| I know that Theo is under contract to Salford for several years. But with Rangi Chase and Tim Smith coming to Salford, what chance does Theo have of getting regular first team game time?
Would Salford consider releasing him to another interested SL club? The fact is that there is a dearth of quality halves in Super League, and by now he could probably raise his value on the open market over what he is being paid by Salford. London could be interested for starters.
I am interested because he is a potential French international in a few years, especially if he can build up his weight a little bit at least. But he desperately needs a good coach to help him mature. Noble would be good to help him -- much better than Tony Rea -- but that is not as much help for his development as a player if the lad is being kept in a reserve team.

| Anyone who has watched the numerous vids off the Salford website with regards to our new beginning can see that Theo must be very much in the Clubs plans. He was rolled out and interviewed alongside the new signings and Martin Gleeson. The only two retained players in attendance and one was the Captain should tell you how Noble and the Club are thinking with Theo.
I see your point with regards to game time, but until we see how Noble intends to utilise him it's a moot point. Theo is pretty committed to Salford and it appears they are to him on the face of it. I have a feeling that if they bulk him up a little in pre-season that Noble will use him as an interchange utility HB/Hooker. It's great to have this 'problem' I suppose.

| Going nowhere, Theo is really valued by the club and I am sure he is earmarked for a role in the team, think The Butcher is not a million miles of the mark.

| I often wonder if we'll go down the new favourite route for young halves and try him at full back, he is very illusive and cocky enough to have potential if they ever did try him there.
I can't see Theo going anywhere as I can see him as the face of the club for many years, also think him being at the club brings other benefits as haven't we just signed a 16 year old full back from France (I think he is called Ferrett?) which I would to some extent see Theo having a hand is persuading the kid that Salford is a good destination.

He should be a French International now. He's already better than Bosc. Seriously, this kid has been a standout player all season behind a beaten pack. Give him a chance now, he definitely won't let you down.

| If we don't sign another hooker I think Theo could figure as an interchange hooker next year whilst offering cover at halfback. I think Fages could be very effective in the hooker position both running from dummy half with his speed off the mark and and also having good handling skills.
I don't see him as fullback.

| I think sadly Theo and the other younger players missing out is the downside of our rapid evolution.Ultimately I can only see these youngsters slowly drifting away from the club as the ready-made players keep coming in and limiting the chances of the young ones who have already tasted regular Super League rugby

I don't because I think their development will be better around a better quality squad and a more professional environment. For instance take the Walne brothers and Hope, surely they are going to learn a lot more from being around the likes of Morley and Hock etc. You could say the same about Theo working with Chase and Smith.
Another young player I'm expecting big things from going forward is Jon Ford our England academy centre who's currently doing well for Oldham on dual reg under Scott Naylor.

| Theo will be a Salford player for a long time yet, or at least until he decides he wants to leave. As has already been mentioned, he already is the best French half-back and had he been playing for a top 6 club this season he would have won best young player etc and received all kinds of accolades.
