Just to let you guys know that Adam Walne has re-signed for Salford this morning, with Salford paying Workington a transfer fee for him.

Strange scenario. Perhaps we'll send out on loan to you, again. It wouldn't surprise me.

How's he been playing?

I think you will find we never had the money to keep Adam such was the state of the club.
Now we have the finances we can afford to keep hold and possibly bring back players who should never have been let go.

I'm sure that true, but the point remains that this is a rather strange scenario. Any idea how he's been playing whilst away?

Adam has been going really well, hence he reason Salford have moved quickly to acquire his services.

Well that's excellent news and it's great to know the club only sign (or re-sign) players on common-sense grounds. Let's hope he continues to play well and we benefit for a long time to come.

He's been excellent at Workington and one of the first names on the team sheet every week. We will miss him but good luck to the lad he is workhorse and a likeable lad and deserves success.

Agree. I watched him a few times for the U20's last year and he was the stand out forward for me. I predict there could be as many as six of last years academy team with potential to play a big part in our future if they keep developing.

He went really well yesterday, gave us miles more go forward than Boyle ever has!!!
