Gledhill is only Young, When he fills out a bit, I reckon He will a very good prop

John Kear gave him his Super League debut and Daryl Powell took him on loan to Featherstone a couple of years ago.The fact that Aston wants him should answer your question.

Nothing wrong with him , he's just 23 which for a Prop is still young , he's got 3-4 years before he really comes of age in that position.
played well at the start of last year then picked up a nasty Patella Injury ( He Bust his Kneecap ) . which put him back a bit in the pecking order .
He needs gametime & he should get it at the Eagles under Mark Aston , who's no mug .

Think he has the makings of a decent prop when he gets the right experience. I personally would have seen if Halifax would take him for a season as sure Harrison would have helped his natural progression.

Look at the record - he basically had 1/2 a season of good results then a catastrophic decline. The general opinion was that he'd "lost the dressing room", whether that is true I do not know, I only know that we barely won a game for a season and a half prior to relegation.

If Alan Hunte thinks that Sheffield and Mark Aston is a good home for Mr Geldhill then that'll do for me, I'll take his judgement as to the best way of developing our young players.

I meant in no other terms than him being one hell of a decent prop in his time, we say that young Theo has more chance of picking things up from Longy so I'd suspect that Gledhill would have had with Harrison.
