Never really fulfilled the early potential he showed with us. Do you a good job in the Championship. At Superleague level he worked hard and put more than his share of tackles in but didn't offer much offensively.

Which is strange as during his first senior season with us he made breaks aplenty. His attacking play regressed since then to the point where last season it was pretty much non existant. Wouldn't surprise me if the change of surroundings works and he goes on to have a good career for Fax though.

All is not lost with Luke and like you say, he remains an excellent tackler.

He was a centre though when he joined us and I think when he bulked up he lost a yard or two. You can't fault his workrate and maybe at Championship level he will find a little more space.

What happened to his Rugby Union career? Hope they haven't ruined him, I thought he was a decent player at Salford.

Yes he went to Bath after Salford but they released him after a short time.

Luke played his best rugby in a Salford shirt under Karl Harrison. Hope he can recapture that form with Halifax now.

great attitude and a decent lad. Unfortunately not quite good enough for SCR but has plenty of respect from our terraces.

He was on trial with Wigan and played in friendly v South Wales. Wigan presumably decided against signing him.

get rid of him he,s .how he got to be a pro rugby player is anyones guess.
