I'm a wigan fan but i also have a real liking for Salford (due to a family connection) and would love you to be successful , but i don't think paying X amount for Tomkins will make a difference , you would be better off signing 3-4 top quality players from here or abroad than putting all your eggs in one basket..i hear Ben Barba is having problems in Aus..if he were available i'd gladly let you have Sam if we could pick him up..but seriously though i hope your chairman goes out and buys some good quality to strengthen your squad

I don't think you understand, if, & I really don't believe we will for a second, signed Tomkins that would be just the start! If we sign a player like that the others will follow. I reckon we've got at the very least half the salary cap still to spend. I think everyone is aware that signing just one player, no matter how good they are isn't going to change our fortunes alone. This isn't a publicity stunt, this is ambition & at some point in the not too distant future we WILL sign a superstar of our game! In the Doctor we trust!!
