| I don't do Facebook, but occasionally I look at the Club page as it is the only way to get info, there is a post about saving the stub of your match ticket to get a discount on the cost.
This seeems odd to me, shouldn't all season tickets be discounted by one game whether or not you attended ?
I don't see how the club can sell a ticket with 13 games (or however many there are in a regular season) if we have already played one.

I'd agree. Seems like an unnecessary complication.

| Do people get a refund for the membership fee they paid last year then if that's the case?

| Last year's membership fee was for last year's season ticket. I think I heard/read something about any membership fees paid beyond the first 12 months being refunded or knocked off new season tickets.

| Think that not doing this is a very bad move by the club, to a great many people £15 per month wasn't a great deal but to ask for the whole amount up front just after Christmas is asking too much of them especially when many are still feeling the pinch of a recession. You'd think that if the new regime are serious in attracting (or in this case keeping) a wider fan base they would make it as painless to come to the club as possible.
As for the membership fee the way it was explained to me in the shop at the Willows was that you paid this pre season last year and then when you get your season ticket this and continuing years all you do is continue paying via DD.

That's either been explained wrong or misunderstood. The membership was intended to be a rolling membership in which you then paid your "match pass" on top off each year, to essentially make up to the price of the ST. If you only paid it in year one you'd then be getting season tickets for a third of the price forever.

| Unless they are going to be charging a nominal fee for season tickets (which I suspect they will do) the non dd option is madness, and i dont think the good dr is mad?

| I understood that the membership fee was paid every year, was part of the season ticket price.
The idea of the membership was that it was V.A.T. free, saving the club money

Well, for whatever reason, it's clearly been scrapped.

| I have just called the ticket office and the office staff there didn't seem to know anything about the season tickets being available from today, let alone any details about the possible payment schemes.

| I remember it causing quite a bit of confusion the membership scheme last season, plus it didn't help that everyone was being told different things from the club shop. Having the season ticket/PAYG card being X amount would be better I think rather than the price of membership plus match pass; and have any benefits like shop discount included. It'd be nice still to have the direct debit option though.
