| Our new Chairman has one at Wolverhampton on Monday.
5.55 - #7 - The Great Gabrial about 7/2 - First run
`Bought for just 23,000 gns last year but impossible to ignore pedigree being out of a Yorkshire Oaks winner and St Leger runner-up (just second of her foals to make track). Very interesting newcomer.`

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

Is that still in traning? Remember backing it a while back but not seen it on a racecard for a couple of years. The Doc had a runner at Lingfield last Saturday, English Summer IIRC. Had it in a Lucky 31 and finished a close 2nd at 12/1. It has been placed/won a few timesso may be worth following for e/w backers.
Sure I read somewhere that the Doc has had a winner at Grade 2 level so wouldn't be surprised if he managed a classic entry or 2 in the next few years with the track record he's managed to build up in a relatively short period of time.
