Not sure if they will still be ongoing but went to the gym this morning and there was some sort of roadworks going on pretty much outside the ground turning on the A57. The traffic was pretty bad way before any Sale people attended so think it will be terrible Friday night if they haven't finished by then.

You could park at the Eccles Amateur Rugby League Club, just a 15 minute walk from the stadium. We offer patrolled and secure parking for £3 per car, plus bar food & drinks before the game.

Traffic is horrific this morning around the Irlam/Barton area but it should be sorted by the end of today from what ive read. Any road works or accidents and the area is gridlocked, the joys of a one road in, one road out town.
The proposed link road cannot come soon enough. Ive seen a few anti Salford rants by individuals on facebook about traffic on a Friday/Saturday night even though it was a Sale match day. I used to live close to Old Trafford and its pretty simple, time your journey when a games on. Some people prefer to moan rather than make use of a couple of brain cells.

Apparently there are no club shuttle buses from the willows and weaste on Friday. Not sure about from the T.C.
