I disagree, we've shown previously that we're more than capable in attracting 5 figure crowds with Catalans at the Willows remember, to which if any forthcoming investor would of noticed in their homework about the club.'"
They'd notice one five figure crowd in how many years? They'd notice the vast majority of attendances being in the 2000 - 5000 range, and that the people of Salford couldn't be bothered to turn up for a friendly when that game could be the club's last ever. What message does that send out?
Quote: Philyourboots "
It would of been a bigger crowd with a decent away following, Salford for me has great potential with very few teams in superleague having City status. Regardless of the Swinton attendance it wouldn't send any type of message out, the fact we're a City perfectly located in RL territory with 100 years plus behind us would be attractive to most businessman,'"
Debateable. If there is such a huge support for RL in Salford, where is it? Is there a thriving amateur scene in the city? Does the city's other professional club pack them in at the LSV? How many Salfordians are currently playing in Super League? How does that compare to smaller towns and cities like, say, Leigh?

its obvious JW's debt is the main reason a new regime isn't in place,'"
From thew meeting, JW said the debt owed to him and to Howard Clague would, effectively, be written off, so I find it less obvious than you do that the debt is the reason so few investors have ever come forward. Were they knocking at the door when the club wasn't in so much debt?
Quote: Philyourboots "a big crowd to me shows faith to JW nothing else.'"
I'm sure that those people who turn up will be there to support the team and the club, not the board of directors.
Quote: Philyourboots "I'm also not angered by these incumbents, I'm just fed up and tired of JW lauders propping him up, when us realists saw this coming ages ago.'"
Who are these 'JW lauders'? I don't think I've ever seen anyone on here say everything is rosy. I have, though, seen people on here try to explain to you that without the money the board have put in, the club would have folded years ago. No-one, though, is saying they haven't made mistakes. For some reason, you can't seem to grasp that and then, instead of trying to make your case, just resort to infantile name calling.
Quote: Philyourboots "I won't give another penny until this regime have gone completely. Nothing to do with short sighted and ridiculous. Enough is Enough however other people I talk to say the club died when we left the Willows. I hope they're wrong.'"
The regime are trying to go, so I'm not sure what you're hoping to achieve with this. Do you think it will speed their departure along somehow?
