We need to attract bigger names from Salford including Christoper Eccleston, Sir Ben Kingsley, John Cooper Clarke, Peter Hook, Paul Scholes, Hazel Blears MP, Russell Watson, Adrian Morley, Harold Riley, Sir John Moores, Mike Sweeney, Shaun Ryder.
They may not even be aware of our predicament. I am sure the majority of salfordians would not like the club to go under and could offer some support.
I will endeavor to contact all of the above but if you can suggest the best way to try to involve our stars please feel free.
Concerts, auctions, appearances, fundraising, donating, spreading the word, raising awareness. There may be business and money people who would happily help if they were told about it.

Why not add Fred/Peter Done to that list?

Given the continued wall of silence from the club I'm not actually sure what we're working on at moment and certainly wouldn't be giving the current shambles a penny just yet.

Surely selling Broughton would raise most, if not all, of the 60k and buy some time. Then any money raised seperatley can go towards a newco club if the worst still happens, which is still most likely. If an investor came forward the trust would funds to buys a share in the new club.
