I know there has been no official announcement yet but I am delighted we have signed this guy, I thought when he burst on the scene at Saints he look the biz!! comparisions to a new Chris Joynt we made!! I think him and ashurst as the 2 starting 2nd rowers will be a real improvement on last year. Look forward to watching him and developing from playing more. Well done Salford a good young english lad who will only get better. Just sign up a few more of our own crop of youngsters and happy days!!

As for Dixon, I agree that he hopefully can kick-on with us and put in some performances.

You have a really good player in Dixon.
He was offered the same contract for this year from Saints but decided that he wasn't getting enough game time so obviously confident enough to back himself.

With getting more game time with you this year I think you will see him really kick on.

Yeah, the announcement of the club's first signing for the new season in November certainly balances off the looming prospect of liquidation.

The last time we signed a Dixon, we signed a Burgess on the same day. Just waiting for Sam to be announced before close of business today. Salford have done well keeping this quiet.

I haven't seen much of Ashurst since he left but I was impressed with him when he broke through at Saints. He did seem to be overtaken by Dixon though when he managed to get a run of games together.
