Mixed opinions from me. He's a great bloke and probably good to have around the team but his wage bill must be pretty big.

Didnt really make the impact I would have hoped last season. Too much of a bit part player.

We need some new blood in the forwards to allow the backs more time to play. Not sure who else will leave at the end of the season, I've seen Anderson's name mentioned.

Rumours have been rife all season amongst my circles and with the current state of play with the players all itching for a move my sources told me mid season all wasn't well in camp .....I understand they ( the players ) aren't PV's acquisitions, but to lose a dressing room in your 1st 6 months looks a sorry state of affairs.Who'd be a Salford fan out of choice

Proves nothing other than your another new poster with an axe to grind.

From speaking to players personally I know the converse to be true that the majority of the players like, respect and trust PV. What you'll find is PV is an astute judge and is letting our highest earners who offer little in return to go and then he is looking to bring in players who will do the job required.

Dixon is a fine example of the type of player PV is looking to sign, young, already proven at SL level and with no little talent.

To be fair I tend to agree with "Philyourboots" How many times has the head come out with "the players needs to have a look at themselves" The players don't get motivated by PV. Whether the players like it or not Matt Parish had standards he expected a professional rugby player to need. Unfortunately very few of the players lived up to that, to be fair MP recruits, Joel Moon have been good. I Only wish he stuck with us and the promises that offered him where fulfilled, he was very much in the Harrison mold and what the club so disparately needed. He told the club what we all knew in the space of a month, yet McRae did not see his in all his tenure!
