| Does anyone not agree with me here when i say salford should be letting the young players have a run out on the field? i think its not fair on the young talented lads that are putting there heart and soul into training and they dont get a game and then you have phil veivers picking some players that either arent fit enough, dont play well in games but still get picked, and are only getting played because they are on good money and the team hes picking isn't winning?

| I agree but maybe they aren't being played in the first team because they have a chance of a grand final with the 20's?? Just guessing but this could be a reason.

| We have this same conversation at the end of every season. Yet never once has a coach ditched the leaving players for the young lads.

| This would likely be a great way of bringing along a few extra fans each game too. At least the fans would know they cared!

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try

| I don't want any of them drafted in yet. I want them to concentrate on trying to get to the U'20 grand final. At least we'll have a final and a team worth supporting to cheer!!!

| Agreed, when the likes of Patten are saying on Twitter 'Boxes here can't wait to go home' we should give a chance to the kids who want to play for the red shirt.

If this is the reason the U20's haven't been utilized can we explain why Adam Walne is now dual Reg at Workington ?
I suspect if Hunte had his way there would have been a few more debuts this season,
Owen & Sneyd have only been used because of a crisis in their positions.

| Of the current 20's, I reckon as well as Sneyd and Owen, the likes of Adam Walne, Dan Brotherton, Tom Whitehead and Nial Evalds could be ready for a crack in the SL.
