That's it I've had enough now! Tonight I've finally come to terms that we'll always be a bit part club, all season we've played decent in at Least some part of every game but tonight I think the players have all but given up!. Pathetic it's just pathetic, the one and only year we have a decent attacking style of play and what do we do? Sell the main key player in the middle of it all, the club just has no ambition what so ever, Gleason has been on fire all year and tonight he was just a turnstyle in defence and butterfingers in attack.

IMO half the players are playing for contracts at different clubs and when they've sorted themselves out they couldn't give a toss. Well you what I don't give a toss anymore nearly 30 years watching Salford and for 20+ we've been dire well tbh I can't ever see that changing.

Losing to Widnes was the single worst moment of the season for my side. I can emphasise with Salford fans on this one, Widnes are a bloody awful side.

You mean apart from top flight rugby? Superleague 'Fax wish they could get in? You reactions are a joke, maybe understandable after a few pints, but just take it down a notch and think. Now let's clear a few things up.....yes your in Super league but more by manipulation than anything else, now how do i quantify that well at the first time of asking the Salford club put together some plans for a stadium the proposed to build which was pie in the sky, culminating in the development company concerned going into liquidation. At the second time of asking a stadium was on the horizon but made possible not by the Salford club but by the requirements of Peel Holding(who want to make profit) and Salford council who want bragging rights about having a super league side in the city.
Now if you look at the teams performance over those years it has been poor to say the least, regular bottom five, a number of heavy defeats and an inability to hold on to the better players due to finance troubles.
The fact is sadly for Salford the chickens have come home to roost and you remain a super league club simply due to a three year contract at the moment.

Same old Salford I feel hurt, angry and disgusted by everything thats happened today. Yes I'll be there next week at Hull because I'm a sad . I WAS tempted to go last night after the glimmer of hope given by some decent recent performances. I didn't, and thank f**K for that.
Let's face it, our Club is at an all time low. Since KH was sacked our Team have just had NO BALLS. We had three years of boredome under the Slug and we've thrown the ball about for the last season or so, and sometimes it has come off spectacularly. But I'm afraid RL is all about heart and grit..............and we just don't have it.

We all know our Board have no money and no idea how to promote and develop our Club. If loyal supporters are going to keep throwing in the towel, they haven't got a hope in hell
of buiding support.

I have never expected trophies or top 4 finishes, but I and many others expect to see pride and fire in our performances, not the ineptitude and meek surrender that was proffered last night.

This is DEFINATELY my last post on here and I've DEFINATELY watched Salford for the last time. Good luck for all those who remain.

These performances are all to regular this is why we will never get 8,000 fans through the gates and people who get free tickets to come see enough to put them off accept it as stone we will never challenge for anything. This is why fans will get fed up of going eventually. I have been going for years and fed up with clubs attitude to fans. The question the Salford board should be asking them selfs is how many will renew tickets next year as everyone is struggling in this climate of austerity. People will not keep supporting a club that don't seem to care about anything and can't see us staying in super league as we will never do anything to attract support playing like this I certainly wondering should I renew next year it is money just thrown away

If Rooted Red hasn't been to watch since we left the Willows,and he still harks back to the Karl Harrison era,then we are well rid.
For the record, the performance for Karl's last game at Catalan was worse than last night,but then I guess he wasn't there either!

Fair play to Widnes they came with a game plan and it worked for them.

Certain Reds players need to ask themselves do they really want to play for Salford City Reds because quite simple there are no hiding places at Salford there never has been and there never will if you don't give 100% and bust a gut you will get found out!

I spoke with our coach late after the game and as ever he was very honest.

I feel the Reds players did not only let themselves down last night they let down the whole of the coaching staff who I firmly believe are doing a good job.

But we long standing fans have seen it all before.. AND IT STILL HURTS.

Where do we go from here GOD only knows

Can we go to Hull FC and win.. Knowing Salford yes we can...
