Today I spent a few hours at the club in various offices, what has been posted on this & other forums recently would lead anyone to think the demise of the club was imminent.

Just want to say, if the club is alledgedly in turmoil I can't believe how upbeat everyone involved at the club are at present.
If I was working there & administration was on the horizon I would be in a very bad place, contrary to that, I have never seen the staff so upbeat as everyone was today. Sure we are not brimming with money, but neither are the majority of S/L clubs.
I know some fans will say "I'm looking through rose tinted specs" but I assure you I AM NOT!!! If I thought the club was so desperate as suggested I would not put this post on here.
Would we have signed Gibson, Ford, Fages & I believe they are talking to other players to retain them if we were ready for going under.
People are listening to too many rumours of late & feeding other clubs with utter rubbish on forums
The club are looking for investment so we can continue to push forward not because we are going insolvent.

Is everyone just going to continue rambling on about this crap.? i really
couldnt care what any of you might think is or isnt going on. unless the club
confirm anything i wont listen to these so called fans any longer.

Well after listening to GMR last night it was funny that people were texting in saying salford are going to be like bradford soon and the presenters were shocked saying this is a load of rubbish, salford are good with there money and even luke pattern on the phone to the radio say salford dont even spend near as enough to the salary cap. They was even saying that wilky was on the radio and he was misqouted about the finance, hes looking for investments because he carry on forever

Had to spend a little time myself this week talking with people from the club on the phone and it did strike me that for people on the brink of losing their jobs they were incredibly chipper. They are busy trying to sort another fans BBQ and other promotional activities and people from the club are very willing and eager to send people out to help with charity events and set up meetings about further sponsorship.

I'm not stupid enough to think that were rolling in cash but I do think that we are being run to a business plan (even more so after the consultancy firm got a grip and started it's work) that is sustainable and that allows for the required investment in needed areas that prevents us doing a Bradford because I also have little doubt that the powers that be at the club know that we wouldn't get one iota of the same dispensation that Bradford appear to of have.

Chipper? Was there singing involved? Sure you 2 didn't walk onto the set of Glee by accident?

What a breath of fresh air.

Posting negativity on the back of rumour is also very damaging for our club espeacially to the untrained eye and when we are on the look out for further investment to take the club onto the next level !

Obviously best marketing tool for the club is results on the pitch and we have faired pretty well at this recently !!

How dare you come on here spouting positive news, it makes a nice change from all the doom and gloom recently, lets just hope the positive vibes rub off on to the rest of us.

BBM has put forward her views on how she feels about what has been said about the club,directors and staff by a relatively small number of self opinionated so called fans who appear to be happy to run the club down.

BBM enjoys putting effort in to help in anyway that she can,she enjoys it when we score a try,when we win,and she gets upset when we play badly and lose unlike some others who seem to be happier when we lose and never smile or clap when we win.

When someone comes on here telling us that everything the club does is wrong, etc., it's always worth remembering what Tao Te Ching (who must have been a big Salford fan) said:

"Those who know don't talk. Those who talk don't know."

Perhaps it should be the club motto.
