| Think we all pretty much agree that props are the main priority for next season.
You'd like to think that Feka is in his last year as like I've just said on another thread he pretty much offers nothing in either defence or attack, think Jewitt has had enough chances and time to make a name for himself to warrant being released and allowed to see if the move to another team would help him kickstart his career.
With that in mind and the obvious void still there from big Rays departure at the end of last season are we going to trust the youngesters coming through from the 20's or invest some of the money that will be saved by Feka hopefully going and Patten retiring. There must be an old war horse type prop over in Oz who's available to add the missing backbone of a say Ray or Rutcho, if we are going to blood some of the youngesters you definately need a pack leader in the props to look after them and lead by example - at the minute the most experienced prop is Feka and would you nominate him as either A a pack leader or B a role model for the youngsters.
For me get in a reasonably big name from down under for 1 or maybe 2 seasons and charge him with the task of helping bring through what are obviously a very talented group of youngsters.

| Why oh why do clubs have to immediatley think the answer lies in Australia and i would have thought your club especially have had a few duck eggs from over there. You have a youth team there lying 3rd so not at all bad, promote from within. If you was one of them kids and you saw some Aussie arrive before you getting a chance you'd be a bit issed off.

| I think a mix of both is the right answer.
Promote talent from within and let them benefit from working alongside a seasoned pro that can hold a pack together.

Sorry mate can't agree, I think Jewitt has been out stand-out forward this season and his stats will back that up, it's Boyle, Sidlow & James who need to "allowed" to leave.

| A couple of Veterans to come in, and bring the U20's through to eventually replace them is whats required. Most important thing though is to bring in one or two players of genuine quality rather than 3 or 4 average journeymen.
