| Think I may watch them from now on! Adam walne is a beast who needs seriously considering, unlucky to get sent off for defending his team mate. We may have our front row solution! Marriott isn't fair off either! Sneyd played well also. Let's not push them all though, they need another year of growth!
Nice.watching ur team play well and win!Hooked!

| It was a soilid game last night they all played pretty well. Three of the front rowers impressed me although two of them do need to improve their fitness. The lad who was at Sr with 11 on his back had a real good game, he was running great lines and making good yards with it.
Sneyd had a great game with the boot at goal and on the field. Although he's far from finished as a player he seems to have confidence witch is something that smith and Holdsworth seem to lack at the minute.
I can't really understand whey some of these guy's don't get a chance, but if PV doesn't think their ready yet surely a loan spell at a championship club would do them some good.
It has always puzzled me why we never loan some of our academy players out as it seems to help the you lads at some of the bigger clubs?

| Great effort, great game and decent turn out. After trailing 10 - Nil that was some comeback, Sneyd was superb as was the stand off (name anyone?) the pack worked as a unit and Fyles and hooker was brilliant.

Thought Salfords hooker was MOM. Think the stand off was Tom Whitehead? Good performance all round really.

| Impressed with the 20`s peformance last night , less impressed with the bunch of thugs that turned out for Wakefield.
It would be a good move to have regular stand alone fixtures for both academy teams on a friday evening at Barton.

| Would`nt it be nice to talk about the 1st team in such glowing reports.I agree with patterson,if Alan Hunte and Veivers think it would be beneficial for two or three of the youngsters to go out on loan to the championship then so be it.Rather they went out on loan than let them from the dark side get their grubby fingers on the lads.

After what I have seen of the Under 20s there are several of them, who off their performances all season deserve a chance in our first team squad as soon as possible never mind a dual registration deal.
Perhaps Phil Vievers is hanging on for a couple of wins before giving them a chance?

| After reading the reports about the u/20s,
but no score mentioned, I decided to go on the Salford website, where I looked up Fixtures and results re academy
What did I find........... LAST SEASONS RESULTS
Who does this website ?Have they employed someone on the cheap
If you pay peanuts you get monkeys
I think the way we are run we have a lot of monkeys working there
Just seen Red Mountains post, thanks very much............ (Do you fancy running the website ?)

Check out the League Geek stats section:

I've barely noticed our second highest try scorer this season.
