I hear the club are holding a focus group at 11am tomorrow with some bod from the SMC. Can anyone off here who is attending make sure they explain how narked off people are with the way they have been operating so far. They've avoided any attempt at communication until now so they need making aware how badly their actions are impacting on the only tenant currently playing at Barton. In the long run a productive relationship is beneficial for both parties and we as fans need to use opportunities like this wisely.

The last thing we need is The Optimist going in there convincing them they are doing a great job. . . .

If anyone sees this beforehand - can you ask the SMC what market research they have done? ie. what other sports stadia / entertainment venues have they visited?

Remember in the only Mayor candidate who is in favour of the stadium and is also a big Salford fan is Ian Stewart, so if elected he would be on the SMC board and we would have a voice on there.

A student thing, isn't it? So between that and the fact that it's been held at a time most of us can't get there means it's probably of little value.
