just watching a re-run of the game between leeds and manly. it's just shown a picture of the manly coaches in the stand and i might be wrong but i'm sure that sat next to parish is our very own sean long. seems very odd to me that.

I am chuffed for Leeds as they were excellent but don't think for one moment it matters in Australia (despite the obvious disappointment in players' faces on Friday).
Many in Oz would be glad to see the back of Brisbane, Melbourne and NZ. They make the M62 cloth cap brigade look good.

He displayed lots of passion
He exposed our poor fitness standards
Feka was given an almighty kick up the backside
The team has galvanised, albeit in a mutual dislike for him
Vievers seems to be getting more out of the team this time round

Maybe he wasn't the man for the job long term, but whether the board like it or not, they still owe him some gratitude. I'm of the opinion the coaching and playing staff thet assembled during his reign is far stronger this season.

Let's just hope that whilst he was back in the country he didn't attempt to undo any of his 'good work' by enticing a certain member of our staff back to Oz with him...
