Plan to open it tomorrow, they will be putting in a shift for that to happen as it didnt look anywhere near ready an hour ago!

With staff transferring from the Willows to the new stadium no surprise that its gonna be hard to get hold of them this week.

Apparently on the fb page the club are apologizing as they will only be able to accept cash only as there is no phone line in yet for cards to be taken.

Could we actually get any more amateur?

How dare you call the "professional" club! We wouldn't have a club shop if it wasn't for a certain someone.

the loss of business due to the inability to get the Kit sorted early enough in the season & not getting a fully operational trading outlet up & running will probably would have paid for the fit out in the first place?

however , at least they have the shopfit done the doors open & stock in , in less than a month .
and they have told us beforehand it's cash only tomorrow. amatuer yes but communication's improving.

It really does amuse me how absolutely nothing the club 'does or doesn't do' gets past members of this forum. It's always amateur this and that without anyone really knowing why something has, hasn't or can't be been done. Without wanting to encourage others to jump all over my post and criticise me for defending the club, I would say lighten up because there may actually be genuine reasons why? Has anyone ever though that any of these criticism's could be down to financial constraints and cash flow?

For example, I would imagine in these tough economic times and with no rugby revenue over the winter and players contracts to be paid, that it isn't easy to find the money to fit out a new club shop and buy 100's of new replica jerseys.

a hairdressers I know was moving into a new shop, a lot of rendering and other work was done on the premises and instead of opening when they should it opened 3 months late, for reasons beyond the control of the hairdresser. This happens quite a bit in the building trade, completion targets not met by one group will affect other groups time scales even with the best project management team in the world.
I just hope none of the scroats are reading the club stuff and thinking about all that cash that will be there tomorrow.

Anyone any idea what's in the supports gift pack season ticket holder are getting?, wouldn't want to rock up at the shop tomorrow and buy a hat & scarf set only to find one in my pack?

From the dealings that I have had recently it appears that the Stadium Company have a lot of explaining to do with regards to not being able to pay by card,telephones etc.

They can now take card payments in the shop.

Congrats to the team for getting the club shop open on time for the first home game....takes a lot of work sorting that crap out...trust me, I know!!
