menmedia.co.uk/manchesterevening ... d-reds-job
If true, what must he be thinking after initially being overlooked for the job? I don't have a problem with Veivers taking over full time as a more established one doing so is unrealistic given the state the club is in financially, etc. Who would want the poison chalice anyway.
We all know the state of the club and the apparent questionable nature of how its run but unfortunately I just can't see anything changing. We all love the club and want to make those who run it realise their failings but talk of 'protests' and 'staying away' will just hurt the club further financially. I honestly don't know what the answer is as heads are buried too far in the sand at the club and it seems impervious to change. One thing is true though. The club need our support more than ever now and we need to all pull in the same direction.(I'm sure someone already said that!) Things do need to change but I'm still optimistic about the coming season.
The king is dead, long live the king.
Surely there won't be any further bombshells to come. Hang on a minute, this is Salford........
