| Shaun Edwards ??? That surely is a very poor joke. Fabulous back-up player and a great team player, but the finest s/o ever ?? No thanks, and this may annoy a few, but he wasn't a patch on Gary Schofield at his best.

| Schofield, although now a bell-end, was a class act in his day.
Off the list above I'd have to go for Lance Todd. But I'm obviously biased.

| Quote: Reds Rule "Listed on voting form are as follows
1. Lance Todd: Be outstanding if Todd was selected. Agree with the earlier post who said it should be him. His name is associated with the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley more than any other person. Add in his glittering playing and coaching career and he is an ideal candidate. Probably will be overlooked due to the fact his achievements were before the Second World War.
2. Clive Sullivan: More of a revered figure in Hull and not really associated with Wembley. His standing in the game remains more to do with Lyon in 1972 and being the first black captain of a British international side. Like Watkins for us, adored at his club, but not in the echelon of all time greats of the sport.
3. No problems with it being Boston. Immortal of the game and he did the business at Wembley.
4. Of the short list I would pick Fox after Todd. Not tainted himself after he stopped playing and like Boston has Wembley achievements to remember. Won the Lance Todd in 1962 and scored a record amount of points in 1960.
5. No, no, no. Magical try in 1994 but he's more associated with Union. We should be choosing one of our own.
6. Deserves to be on the list for his Wembley achievements but again tainted by Union.
7. Would only be there for Watersplash and we shouldn't have a statute commemorating something he spent his whole life trying to forget.
8. Probably the greatest rugby player of all. Couldn't argue with it if he was selected but he's done his best to be irritating, especially in his coaching career. And he said something recently in the MEN about preferring to watch Union on tv. Neil Fox would never have said anything as ridiculous.
9. Again no problems with it being Ellery but there are those more deserving.
10. How Risman and Jim Sullivan aren't on the short list and Jonathan Davies is is beyond belief.
In short come on Lance!

| No Risman? Pathetic, will probably end up being one whose played both codes so they can stick their nose in.
