Think today I have read two of the most worrying articles about Salford I have ever seen, they fill me dread but in a converse way they fill me with hope that should we take on board what MP is saying that we have a real diamond.

I do worry from his tones though that he is having a serious think about the enormity of the task he has taken on. I just hope to God that he looks at it as the project he can take on and make a real name for himself.

For once in all our lives we need to be galvanised tomorrow, make the entire evening a MP love in, chant his name with passion to show SS, ST and Sir John that we have taken MP and his straight talking ways to heart. The more support we show for him tomorrow the more the people above him must wake up and smell the coffee. OK he might not be a nodding dog or yes man but Christ he is 100% Salford through and through already.

I shall be primeing big Vlad for some throating chanting, I would for once hope every single one of us sings from the same hymn sheet tomorrow.

MR this is one of the best posts i have read in my short time on here. We all discuss issues and give opinions on various area's of the running of the club and how things operate (and rightly so) but as mere fans most, if not all, of these are beyond our control. Supporting MP wholeheartedly and as one tomorrow may make the powers that be stand up and realise MP's views are not only his own but those of the fans aswell! I'm not saying it will work for definite but it may prove to be a wake up call for the slumbering board!

Better still do what I have done and write him a letter telling him, how much we back him,and to take no nonsense
of anyone

Strength comes in numbers though and ,although your idea is a viable one, can u really see or expect 4,000 folk to find time to write a personal letter? As said on a different thread posting a comment on the clubs facebook wall is a decent shout.
