Is this a case of the rfl getting giddy at the success they had with the exiles campaign and immediately issuing another campaign that has the look of a flop already. Who's gonna risk first team players picking up injuries midweek?

Is the Salford round being played at the Willows?
Think I'll have a wobble down and take a look.
I'd love to see Jodie and Steff playing in that as they'd be unstopable but like has been said doubt any club would risk a raft of first teamers, takes me back to the Wigan 7's pre season many years ago and watching Radlinski before he had broken into the first team and seeing his speed and talent shine through.

What are the aims for this tournament. Is it a competitive competition? Is it for clubs to blood academy players? Is it to attract new fans to the sport on a midweek evening, a bit like the 20/20 cricket?
We host Huddersfield, British Police and Cumbria. Even if we gave tickets away I would be surprised if we attracted over 1,000 on the night.
