If you're referring to when Jodie Broughton was tackled in the air in the 2nd half, he gave the penalty because Ratchford took out one of the chasing Hull players. To be fair to Thaler, it looked as though he was going to award a penalty our way until the intervention of the touch judge.

Yes, I noticed the touch judge getting involved on that occasion. I really do think the floodlight situation is pathetic though & it's got nothing to do with referees.

Why the hell wasn't the screen working. Were in super league and it's hardly advanced technology. I thought that was poor. It was like being at an amateur game guessing the score

For the same reason that Sky Sports lost the transmission from France the other week, an electrical fault, which on occasions do occur.

With the downpour we had around 4 that afternoon (I know as I cycled/swim home in it) I was surprised the ground was as dry as it was. Would think that had something to do with the scoreboard being goosed, can you see the club throwing pots of money at repairs in the final year? No the bare minimum to get the old dear through the year is all they'll do.
