Definately. It would be a nice bit of publicity especially if he could win. Or we could just sign Isaac Gordon. He plays for Cronulla and can apparently run an olympic qualifying 100m time

The winger at Wakefield reckons he's going to win it and stated the only threat was Broughton.

I was really surprised that Broughton didn't finish off that break against Quins last week. I'd have put money on him scoring from that position and can only put it down to him carrying a knock.

Just out of interest do the players have to carry a ball and ground it over the finish line when they race or is it a straight sprint?

Broughton wont be able to take part they do hold the event the week of the challange cup final jodie will be preparing for the game at wembley

I think he had to ride a couple of tackles which slowed him down a bit, giving the defence time to get across.

I thought the forward who tackled him arrived from behind him and seemed to make up 5 or 6 metres over the 20 or so metres Jodie made after the last attempt at a tackle.

That's how I viewed it too, coming to the conclusion that he must of been carrying a knock.

I think Jodie got "hampered" a couple of times which looked to have put him out of his stride pattern. Think the forward was coming at him from an angle as well so it could've made him look deceptively quick. Fair play to the guy though as soon as Jodie broke the 2nd attempted tackle I thought he was away and gone.

Slightly O/T but it would be interesting to see how a SL team made up of the fastest players in each position would go. The Hull KR prop (Lovegrove?) who made a 50m break against us at The Willows looked to have a decent turn of foot for a big man.

Lovegrove came over as a winger originally. Seemed to turn in to a prop after one full off season. Wonder what he was eating?? Name change to Ste Royd anyone??

Think our Will Sharp might be up there aswell.
