to me this looks like one ex player thinks he STILL is bigger than the club and using 'player power' to disrupt things yet again.
how is this allowed to happen at a "PROFESSIONAL" (noticw the inverted commas) sports club.
we need a new coach appointing asap who will bring in his own coaching staff and in my opinion simms would have to go as what top coach wouls get along with him in his current capacity...not many id say.
if this is not nipped in the bud very soon itll drag on and on and could well ruin our swansong farewell season to our beloved willows home of the past 110 years.

maybe to send a message to the club and players ,how would it look if we boycotted the televised game on Saturday?

Really getting difficult to be a supporter this year,not how I wanted it to be for our last season at the willows

If the attendance is anything like the Crusaders game then no one would notice.

That won't help at all, what message does it send ?
Maybe a banner towards the front of The Shed asking "What on earth is happening at our club ?"

or how about a chant ? (to "[iYour not fit to referee[/i"icon_wink.gif

Why do they keep banging on about malc as if he is still a player , in the article 'sidelined for 6 months' I mean FFS he is a coach not a half back , he can bellow orders from the sideline on one leg for all I care , why is he so disruptive be it his fault or not !

It's about time the Chairman sorted out this once and for all. He is the only person who has the power to put an end to all this nonsense. Macrae / Alker / Simms / Vievers / Players they can either work together or they can't.

If JW is a 'Proper' Manager, he should know exactly where the problem lies and should take action to sort it out quickly. It is clear that it's not going to sort itself out, only get worse.

Above all, it is so disappointing for our last season at the Willows to turn into this shambles.

One thing we can all do, is get down there on Saturday and give our full support to the players. Hopefully, we can enjoy another HKR like performance.

Isn't it the job of the Chief Executive to run the company on behalf of the board?

Yet again the spoilt brat syndrome rears its ugly head. Alker reckons he is Salford through and through. That only seems to be true while he is getting his own way the second he dosnt he spits his dummy and throws a tantrum.

Seems we have been down this path before and like any spoilt child if you dont nip this sort of behaviour in the bud sooner or later they will do it again. This time it needs sorting once and for all before he single handly not only destroys our last season at the Willows but destroys our club.

If you had a son or daughter who persisted in behaving badly and throwing tantrums to get their own way as a parent you would deal with it and let the child know that no amount of tantrum throwing will let you keep behaving this way.

The same principle applies here.

We as supporters should still get behind the team and all we can hope for is that the players respect that and dont put the actions of one spoilt child before the club and the fans and give us a good performance on the field.

Sort it out now Mr Wilkinson before it is to late.

A certain Roy Keane at United used to act like this.
Now, when he was in his prime and playing well the club used to just pass it off.
At the end though he became a disruptive influence and was shown the door.
This is what should have happened to Alker a couple of years ago.

A so called "Legend" does not take the club he says he loves to court and also stir up the players.
I await the Alker brigade to come on and defend him now

The way i see it is that if the Changing room IS behind one of the coaches then the others must be the bad apples IMO.When he was at the forerver reds meeting before xmas Malc had some great ideas as to what he wanted to do for the future. To me the others are in the past and should do the decent thing and walk. Before anybody asks then no i aint a part of the Alker brigade, i just see him as a young and hungry coach who wants to progress to a top coach.

The questions are A) Is he good enough B) Who of any real quality has he been coached by and how much notice did he take & C) What if he's the bad apple?

No not for me fresh start none of the old boys brigade or recruiting within we've been here before, it doesn't work (Steve Mc anyone) lets go out and tell any prospective head coach here you go bring in your own coaching staff you don't have to make do with working with whoever’s already here who you don't know, may not like or like their style of coaching.

Stop being so small thinking Salford and Start thinking big for once, Fresh start people, fresh start!

Is it any wonder the fans have mard ar$es and moan like we do! Sometimes wish this club never existed and my efforts were better spent elsewhere!

Isn't this ALL just speculation? What do we actually know has happened as a matter of fact?

from that article it is difficult to tell what the layers think.

Maybe they want John Wilkinson or Steve Simms to remove both mcrae and Alker and bring some ew blood in to coach.

There is nothing here to show the team are behind Alker.
