I know a few of the lads have been picked out for there performances on friday but for me the mom award on fri must have been a tricky one to decide because i found it hard to single anyone out, the whole squad were superb. It makes you wonder where these type of performances come from. i just hope we can back up now with a little run cats away crusaders at home and a chance at cas! If we do win those games 10 points on the board then things start looking very rosey and the nightmare start we had is forgotten! you then start to believe the things we were told about the team needing time to gel etc, phil clarke said on friday he thinks Salford wiil cause some real upsets in the coming weeks.
Just ref vinnie anderson and some of the comments on here about him, wont say how i know but just to say this guy is desperate to play and prove to the salford support he aint just here for the money he is itching to go and probably would have played friday if hadnt picked up a virus from his son.

yeah i'll second that about anderson, seen him around the gym and stuff, looks a great guy for team spirit/moral and is working really hard to get fit!

I'll second that. Never liked him, because he played for the Wolves & Saints, but always thought he was a great player. A very power athlete to boot. If Sidlow can keep up his level of performance and we get the likes of Vinnie and Bailey playing, then the team as a whole is starting to look a whole lot stronger. If you can imagine our backs and a pack with, Cashmere, Godwin, Boyle, Adamson, Anderson and Wild, plus Sidlow, Neal, Bailey and probably Smith interchanging. That's a team that could really win some games.

That's good to hear. Just like everyone else, the disappointment of him not playing is partly due to us knowing how good he is, and what he can bring to the Team.

I hope he's back soon and firing on all cylinders.

Any news about Bailey? It seems to have gone very quiet about him.

I heard Vinnie Anderson should be available for selection this weekend. Apparently he would have been available last Friday but for picking up a virus.
