When if ever are the club going to address Shaun McRae's after match outburst and the mockery of Salford City Red's. This Is absolutely disgusting and I am seriously considering sending JW this dialogue for his attention. Here it is again in full (word for word!)

I'm not bothered what people..I don't care what people say or what they think!, I don't care what people say or think about the club, I don't care what people say or think about me.

What I do, is I know this is my 16th year as a head coach, so I don't want people telling me how this how this game should be played, and how things..how things should work!

I know how they should work.. errrmm but ya know, theres allot of people don't understand the game, and they don't understand the mechanisms or what it takes to get on the field or being on the field, yet av got allot of people that seem to have plenty of advice for ya.

I understand the role of the media I understand the ya know, what what... i'm not having ago at anyone here I'm simply saying, that me..me personally, i'm a i'm about the only person in this organisation thats actually sat back and let everyone else make the comments an think about it an say... hang on you may not be quite right there! you need to sit back a-bit, and be a bit more caustios an thats all Ive tried to do, Ive tried to play it down a bit about new signings.

Everyone gets really really excited and expect so much so early, but ya know from a personal point of view.. no i've i've i know i know we would have liked start better today, I know were we'd like to be ya know at the end of the season but its ya know ..

Thats right Shaun. You don't care and your not bothered.. and trust me It shows pal. It shows in your body language, it shows on the pitch, and most of all it shows on the scoreboard. How can any manager in any sport in any league come out with that and not at the very least be suspended

Yes Shaun, you know why, because you have no belief in your own talent (not that you have any) you know full well you cant coach and you've been clever in sitting back and not passing comment on the new signings. A child could decipher that from your outburst.

No Shaun, we don't know, please explain. Explain how you manage to turn talented individuals into a disjoined unenthusiastic team ? How you struggle to get a team to play the basics of Rugby League. How you have yet to accept responsibility for any one of our many drumming's and admit your tactics or coaching skills don't work.

Couldn't agree more. At this moment in time Malc as cover would be sufficient and more effective than McRae, they would respect his game plan and order's more so, and I think we'd get a similar response to when Karl was sacked (beating Huddersfield 14-12 at home with Hodgson and Wilshire linking up to score a full length try)

I remember Mal on Sky after the game apologising to Karl saying it wasn't his fault and the players were to blame. I think that shows the level of respect they had for him. I couldn't see the same happening if McRae got the boot could you ?

Rather than booing if we are on the end of a hiding on Friday, I suggest a rousing rendition of Love Salford/Hate Mcrae instead.

Very good post but i hate to say it i can not see john wilkinson sacking mcrae even though its what we all want. i do agree that we should chant mcrae out but agin will it go on deaf hears. I would bring brian noble in if we could afford him.

Up his salary slightly for the extra responsibility... and pay the big fella off what we would have paid him anyway... One thing for sure is that he couldn't do a worse job, so we would surely be better off... plus... there is no way on this earth that Alker would disrespect our club. He would command the respect of the players without question.

No not Alker. Although he has been a great servant to Salford he's not ready yet. Can you imagine it will be mad Monday every week. A more experienced coach i think.

I find it odd that anyone would put Malc's name forward right now when he's currently part of the coaching setup and already has an influence on the teams performance. Give him more time to adjust to coaching and to learn his trade.

I'd rather they had the Genius step up in a caretaker role rather than Alker. Maybe he'd do it if they promised him his youth role back at the end of the season. The club could then take their time and spend he year getting together what would hopefully be a good portfolio of potential coaches for the job.

I'd say he'd have a lot more to work with at Salford this year than he had at Crusaders last. I think it's very harsh to say he wasn't a success given that he took them to the playoffs the year after finishing 14th in the competition.
