| Not that I am expecting this to be an issue anytime soon but if/when the board see sense and get rid of the useless Aussie who would be a good choice to succeed him? I don't feel Alker is a credible candidate, given that I like the idea of a young British coach in the ilk of Daryl Powell, Dennis Betts or Iestyn Harris. I'm really interested to see what other people think about this?

| [iI would like to see Mr Betts given a chance that's if the Salford City Reds board decided to part company with head-coach McRae be in soon or in the future.

| It doesn't really matter.
After a few bad results the 'faithful' will be baying for blood and wanting a change. You'd think that we as fans would have thicker skin seeing as we are well used to watching us getting beaten on a regular basis.

| Surely Alker now has his sights set on being head coach after McRae.

| Alex Murphy or Maurice Bamford.
Why we haven't thought of either of these two is beyond me.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

Won't happen though unfortunately.
Wouldn't be surprised at Ian Millward. Would be even less surprised at McRae being kept on until Alker is 'ready' to take the reigns.

Daniel Anderson ... rlAnderson to be sackedrl
More likely to be availble , John Cartwrights star is rising in the NRL, 2nd in league , I know your saying:- who in his right mind would want to live on the Gold Coast and manage a premiership chasing NRL side when he could be at the Willows next season having abuse hurled at him

Oh no I'm not saying next season but at the end of 2011 he's out of contract, we're moving to a new stadium and hopefully our new team has made the top 8 or better, you just never know!

Two seasons of dire rugby with Mcrae in charge (after promotion) is hardly 'a few bad results'.
